Accountability

The City Connector will formally “report” to two groups;

a) The City Unite Board
b) The Lakewood City Connector Advisory Board (To be developed)

The City Connector will “informally” report to Lakewood City officials, the Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools and the Director of Jefferson County Human Services.

  1. The City Connector will report monthly via E report and twice a year to the City Unite board. Report to include: 
  • Time use
  • Goal progress
  • Strategic program updates
  • Financial report.

Sitting on the City Unite board will be one of the Lakewood City Connector Advisory Board members. The City Unite Board is functionally supported under the leadership of Dave Runyon, cityunite.org.

2. City Connector will report monthly via E report and twice a year at a meeting to a Lakewood City Connector Advisory Board (LCCAB).

a) The LCCAB will include: a pastor, 4 donors, a city official (mayor?) and 2 interested citizens.

b) Reg’s report to the LCCAB will include:

  • Time use
  • Goal progress
  • Strategic program updates
  • Financial report.
  • Board suggestions and coaching on direction and LCC vision

c) Reg and the LCCAB will draft:

  • Lakewood City Connector job description,
  • Job Goals,
  • Job Mission,
  • Job Vision
  • Conduct Rules
  • Expectation for the City Connector.

3. City Connector will report monthly via E report and once a year to appropriate Lakewood City Officials on their activities and the goals of the LCN and LFC in an annual report.

4. City Connector will send a monthly via E report to the Superintendent of Jefferson County Public Schools and in a once a year annual report cite:

  • Number of Whiz Kids sites,
  • Academic and enrollment changes in schools the LCN and LFC are working in,
  • Updates on projects connected to school restoration projects,
  • Vision plans for schools that are in the scope of planning for the coming year.

5. City Connector will meet with director of Jefferson County Human Services once a year to discuss strategies, program successes and ways the LCN and LFC can support Human Services goals, plans and programs.
